God, Who is Holy,

Leviticus 19:2, Habakkuk 1:13

Made us in His Image, to know Him.

Genesis 1:27 

But we sinned, and cut ourselves off from Him. 

(Originally in our first parents, and then individually)

1 Corinthians 15:22, Romans 3:10-12     

In our sin we have earned God’s eternal wrath, we deserve hell. (We are dead in our sins!)

Romans 1:18, Romans 6:23 

In His great love, God became a man in Jesus, lived a perfect life, a life we could never live, and died on the cross.

John 3:16, John 1:14

In this, Jesus, Himself, fulfilled the law on the believer’s behalf.

Jesus also took upon Himself the deserved punishment of all who would ever turn and trust in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 4:10 

Jesus rose again from the dead on the third day, showing that God accepted Christ’s sacrifice, and that God’s wrath against all believers had been satisfied.

Romans 4:25

God now calls you to repent of your sins and to trust in Christ alone for your forgiveness and salvation.

Mark 1:15, John 3:36 

If you repent of your sins and trust in Christ, you are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God, forever His child.
